Applied Training in Computer Science

This is a two-year training in applied computer science, focused on applied skills of interest to the digital transformation job market. It strikes a balance between exposure to foundational concepts and applied experience using software tools and platforms used by industry.

In their first-year students cover the basic concepts, languages, and tools of computer science. In their second year, students will be able to select one of the specialization tracks and pursue specialization courses. All students are required to either sit and pass a certification exam or work on a real-world Capstone or combined Capstone/Internship project in their area of specialization.

The program consists of 10 terms including 2 terms capstone; a term consists of 2 months.

Currently students can select from Data science, Cyber Security, or Software Development tracks.

Graduates of this program have a number of options available to them, namely:

  • Join the workforce immediately.
  • Opt for continuing their education to obtain a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from of the partner Moroccan institutions.
  • Develop a project within the UM6P Stargate incubation and acceleration ecosystem.
